It is reported that when the battery capacity decays to less than 80% of the rated capacity, the power battery will no longer be suitable for electric vehicles and can be shifted to the field of secondary use. According to the power battery capacity, 100% to 80% of the capacity meets the car power use, 80% to 20% of the capacity meets the secondary use, and below 20% of the capacity is subject to end-of-life recycling.
Once the power battery enters the end-of-life recycling process, if these waste batteries are not properly disposed of and allowed to enter informal circulation channels, it will have many adverse effects on the environment and public safety. If not properly disposed of, used power batteries will pose safety hazards such as electric shock, explosion and corrosion, posing a greater threat to the ecological environment and personal health. At the same time, the lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese and rare earth metals contained in used power batteries, if not fully recycled, will also greatly cause a waste of resources.
